The Best of California Awards recognized ITA’s FMS 2.0 project with the prestigious Project Management Excellence award. Jose Alvarez accepted the award for the General Services Department, Office of the Controller, ITA, and CGI for helping to improve the operations of over 2,500 users, and allowing vendors to do business with the City more easily and efficiently. Our partners in the Mayor’s Innovation Team were honored for the Los Angeles Business Portal and the Los Angeles Indices of Neighborhood Change and Displacement Pressure. The Los Angeles Business Portal is a mobile-first, multilingual educational site that simplifies the process for entrepreneurs to launch or grow a business in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Indices of Neighborhood Change and Displacement Pressure (LAINC) is an interactive mapping application and data analytics tool that provides insights into socio-economic neighborhood changes and predicts vulnerability to residential displacement.
