ITA’s Engineering team completed the Mobile Data Network Maintenance Contract with Radio Mobile, a San Diego based company. Mobile Data Network is used in every LAFD vehicle for incident reporting, acknowledgement, and address verification for a fire engine en route to an incident.
ITA technicians are the first line of defense for maintaining this system. By having the maintenance contract in place, ITA technicians are able to keep the MDN system running 24x7 from the base station to mobile unit operations for the Los Angeles citizens’ safety.
