Pursuant to Los Angeles City Council Motion, Council File No. 23-1020, the Information Technology Agency developed this report regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI), its current uses, and best practices to effectively use AI in a responsible and ethical manner, in consultation with the Office of the City Administrative Officer (CAO), Office of the Chief Legislative Analyst (CLA), and Personnel Department.
