Crunching Data to a Better LA

Sunday’s LA Times featured an article highlighting the use of data to make a better Los Angeles in Garcetti Promised to Crunch Data To Clean LA Streets. The article called out a number of department efforts to use data to improve operations - Sanitation, Street Services, ITA, and MyLA311, and the CleanStat Data Analysis project. Councilman Harris-Dawson emphasized, “CleanStat gives us the tool to look at it in a real, objective way, which we didn’t have before.”
